The continuing uncertainty makes preparing for Brexit a problem for most businesses. So Preparing for Brexit was the topic at a Guardian seminar recently when a panel of speakers and a good mix of attendees with different businesses, including our director Giles Dixon, met to exchange views.
Chaired by Philip Inman, Economics Editor, the Observer, speakers included Marcelino Castrillo, MD Business Banking, NatWest Bank and Amanda Burrell of Holistic Skincare who explained how some of her senior EU personnel are now back in their home countries, but continuing to work with her remotely.
Attendees were advised to prepare an audit on the likely risks by Suren Thiru, head of economics and business finance at the British Chamber of Commerce.
Our director, Giles Dixon, attracted plenty of interest when referring to ContractStore’s Brexit clause templates, which can be used by companies dealing with Europe to mitigate the risks and agree changes to contracts depending on the outcome of the Brexit negotiations.
