These contract templates are designed for use by Contractors & Trades in the building industry.

If you are a general builder or carrying out any form of construction work our document B137, Standard Terms & Conditions for Construction Work should be suitable.  It contains a Quotation Form to be filled in and given to the client plus a set of Terms & Conditions.

If you are in the supply or supply/install business and need terms and conditions to give to your clients , use  our document B150, Supply & Installation Terms & Conditions (favouring the Supplier).

These templates are fairly balanced but written from the contractor's or supplier's point of view. They are in easy-to -read English and deal with all the main terms needed for a contract in the construction industry. We also include a short form of subcontract (B128) plus a bidding agreement (B138) and joint venture (A188) for use when two firms get together to bid for work.
