We are an exclusively online business offering legal documents for commerce.  ContractStore was set up in 2002 and since then we have sold many thousand contract templates to customers in the UK and around the World.

Several lawyers contribute to our catalogue, each with expertise in different areas of the law. Between them they have over 200 years of experience in drafting contracts and you can benefit from this experience at very low cost when you purchase contracts here.

The ContractStore Legal Team


is the founder and managing director of ContractStore.  It was his idea to set up a company selling documents online and he has played a major part in the company’s development.  He is an English solicitor, with over forty years’ experience of drafting and negotiating commercial and construction contracts in the UK and overseas.

He has long been convinced that there is a quicker and simpler approach to the delivery and supply of most contracts, and he is an active proponent of the use of plain English in legal documents.  When not working on ContractStore, he has his own legal practice – information can be found at www.gilesdixon.com.

Derek Devgun


is a dual qualified English solicitor and US lawyer, having received legal education in both England and the US.  He is currently in-house corporate counsel at a large multinational medical device company.

With his extensive experience of drafting and negotiation of commercial contracts, he has contributed to the US contracts section of ContractStore’s catalogue.

Judith Long


is a solicitor and her specialist skills include all aspects of commercial property law, business law and employment. With over 35 years’ experience in the law, she has worked in banking, industry, the media (including 6 years spent in the BBC Legal Department) and in private practice.

Linda Spedding


Based in London, Dr Linda Spedding specialises as an independent legal adviser in environmental law, policy and standards. She is qualified as a Solicitor (England & Wales), Advocate (India) and Attorney (USA) and has been involved in public and private environmental projects around the World, notably in India. The author of several books, Dr Spedding is also the founder and director of Women in Law.

Nikolay NekrashevichNikolay

is a Russian in-house lawyer domiciled in Moscow. Nikolay has been dealing with foreign business since 2005 and has participated in a number of projects which has included full-scale legal support and management of start-up projects in Russia. Nikolay has  experience in organization and management of businesses in Russia and believes that his core goal as a lawyer is to bridge Russian reality with foreign attitudes by providing high quality legal services and business consulting. Nikolay is responsible for the Russian section of the ContractStore.

Philippa Wood


is a solicitor who has wide-ranging and varied experience and advises on all areas of contentious and non-contentious employment law. Her clients include individuals, small to medium sized companies as well as public companies.

Sharonjeev Benning PrinceSharonjeev

has 10 years experience as a solicitor in commercial, corporate and intellectual property law, with particular interest in the pharmaceutical industry and life sciences, a subject on which she has written a number of papers.

Xie Rong

Xie Rong

is a Chinese lawyer who has been living in England for the past few years.    She is the first lawyer from mainland China to have received a licence from the Law Society in England to practice in the UK.  As an active member of the ContractStore team, she is not only involved in the production of our contracts in Chinese, but also provides advice on doing business in China to foreign investors.

is a solicitor who, until his recent retirement,  was a partner in a Shrewsbury firm for some twenty years, dealing with property and litigation matters for private and commercial clients.

Kong Wei

is a Chinese lawyer and a partner in the Zhonglun law firm in Shanghai. He specialises in corporate and commercial law, and has experience of working in a London law firm.  With Xie Rong he has selected the contracts for translation and adaptation for the Chinese market.
