The Labour Government has published a wide-ranging Employment Rights Bill.
This will affect almost all employers, especially those taking on new staff.
The main provisions include:
- employees will be granted unfair dismissal rights from day one of their employment.
- new restrictions on “fire and re-hire”
- zero hours contracts will be curbed by complex provisions
